St John Cadets

Cadets in action

St John Cadets meet every Thursday after school from 3pm until 4.15pm.  We are currently completing training for the Provide First Aid certificate so members can attend events such as the 25th Anniversary celebrations.  Members also help out at school carnivals, concerts and community events.  Many employers look to hire young staff who have First Aid qualifications.  Also, it looks good on your résumé to have completed extra-curricular courses.

Visit to our weekly school meeting by NSW State Youth Officer Mr Anthony O’Reilly.

Our Cadets were on duty at Hurlstone Agricultural College for the Cameria heavy metal concert.

Some events are not too busy but we are always ready to help if needed.  Students interested in joining our school’s St John Cadet unit or obtaining their first aid certificate can see Mr Chandler in the Science Staff Room for information.
