National Principal's Day

Last Friday was a special day to celebrate our Principals.  Due to Carolyn needing to be off campus that day, we chose to celebrate her and everything she does and has achieved for our school on Monday.

At Monday's assembly our Student Representative Council (SRC) presented Carolyn with a gift and thanked her for her constant presence, guidance, and leadership she shows us all.

Thank you Carolyn, you are the heartbeat of our school.

Coco has been in Grade 3/4 with Joel

At school this week in class 3/4 with Joel Coco was given a class shedule to read over for the weekly timetable.

Coco attended our book fair stall yesterday where she loved the Pikachu book, looked at the pretty pens and erasers; she ended up buying a pink pompom pencil, had a chat to a kitten and has improved her reading skills with grade 2/3 - now she can read upside down!

Coco enjoyed some time in the music room jamming on the xylophone with a new friend, Baby Turtle.  See also had a try on the synthesizer but she told us "I feel my calling is on the bongos."

After such a busy busy time with Joel's class, Coco found a quiet place to rest.

What a week Coco has experienced already, not just within the school grounds, but Coco has been lucky enough to be included in some student activities outside of school hours.  With her backpack ready and filled with gum leaves, Coco is ready to head out to a birthday party, lunch at a local eatery, and a session at Bounce in Wodonga this weekend. Have a lovely time Coco.

Snowsports with Grades 5 and 6

Today was our first of 3 sessions up at Falls Creek undertaking lessons in downhill skiing and snowboarding.  All students have done wonderfully well under ordinary conditions, but when you're having fun with friends that doesn't matter.

We can't wait to hear the stories when they all arrive back at school this afternoon.
