National Tree Day – over 90 trees planted!

What a fantastic day and beautiful weather we had for our National Tree Day efforts last Friday. Students in all classes ‘got their hands dirty’ and collectively planted more than 90 plants in various locations around the school. Mrs Lisa Tavella led the program across the school, along with our student environmental leaders. The initiative included the opportunity for students to enter a school wide colouring competition and win a tree to take home and plant!
The beautiful entries to the colouring competition can be viewed in the main foyer near the office.
It was wonderful to see so many students wearing green on the day and providing gold coin contributions to our Garden.
