Market Week - $20 Boss Program

Viewbank College welcomed the return of Market Week at the end of  Term 2, as buyers and sellers braved the cold to engage with the products of 2022's $20 Boss Program.

Our enterprising business students in Y10 managed to create a wide array of products to satisfy the consumption needs of the school community.  Armed with deep pockets and empty stomachs, students clamoured for everything on offer from businesses local start-ups including Bro Chicken, Kalm Krystals, Derek's Dumplings and Café Viewbank.

As trading closed on the Friday afternoon, students and (especially) staff were elated to see that the Year 10's had made good on their $20 start-up loans, repaying the amounts in full, while retaining a solid profit margin to keep! 

Several students suggested they would recirculate their profits through Yallambie Macca's, in a boon to the local economy.

All students involved should be incredibly proud of their entrepreneurial efforts!
