Ski Camp

It was an absolute pleasure to attend the Grade 5 ski camp at Mt. Buller last week. The students showed huge improvement across the four days, regardless of their level of skiing experience prior to the camp. A big shout out to Ms. Ratcliffe, Ms. Martelli, Ms. Paslis, Ms. Esposito and Ms. Exintaris for also attending and creating such a supportive and fun environment for the students. Ms. Heron was also very helpful in the organisation and preparation of the camp. Next week we send a group of teachers and Grade 6 students for the Grade 6 ski camp and wish them all the best for a safe and enjoyable time.

ICAS Assessments – Last reminder!

In term 2, Mrs. D communicated information and instructions for parents who wish to register their child for an ICAS assessment. We are proud to be offering English, Science and Mathematics ICAS assessments and we look forward to seeing the results later in the year.

What is ICAS? 

ICAS stands for International Competitions and Assessments for Schools. ICAS is an online academic competition that is designed to assess students’ higher order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science, Writing, Spelling and Digital Technologies.

How to Participate in ICAS 

If you wish for your child to participate in ICAS this year, please: 

1. Read about ICAS subjects and prices here:(https://www.icasassessments.com/products-icas) 
2. Go to Parent Portal here
3. Enter our school’s access code: VWC093
4. Enter your child’s details, select the tests you would like to purchase, then proceed to payment.
