ENROLMENTS: K-6 places now available for 2022

We have places in every grade for new students in 2022. If you know anyone thinking about enrolling their child please ask them to contact Mrs Charadia or direct them to find the enrolment form and information on the school website.

Formation of Classes for 2022

All requests regarding a child’s placement for 2022 classes should be made in writing and addressed to the Principal, Mrs Charadia, by Friday 12 November (Week 6). Parents are asked not to make verbal requests of teachers as Mrs Charadia may not be aware of them.

The formation of classes is a complex process and while parental requests are considered, there is never a guarantee that they will be granted. If you plan to make a request, particularly about your child being placed within a friendship group, please be aware that there may be circumstances surrounding such requests that prevent them from being granted.

Questionnaire for a possible bus service north of St Joseph's

We are presently investigating the possibility of a dedicated School Bus, servicing north of the school.

To assist with our investigations we ask families who reside north of the school to complete this short survey.

All responses are to be completed by Friday 5 November 2021.

Year 6 Farewell

Monday 13 December

The Year 6 Farewell will be celebrated on Monday 13 December. Students will begin a day of celebration with a liturgy followed by a special lunch together in the hall.  In the school hall, specially decorated for the occasion, Year 6 students will enjoy special yummy treats, watch a slide show/ movie celebrating their time at St Joseph's, celebrate the announcement of special awards, receive certificates, and a photobook as souvenirs of their learning and growth in faith at St Joseph's, and other fun activities. These are just some of the ways they will celebrate their farewell.

The liturgy and event in the hall will be recorded and made available to parents as soon as possible after Monday.

Tuesday 14 December

Year 6 students will enjoy time at Bulli Beach pool with some lunch and time with their friends. On return to school, they will be farewelled by students from Kinder to Year 5 and staff.  After the farewell, Year 6 parents will be able to collect their children.

Due to the uncertainty of COVID restrictions, details about how parents may participate in Year 6 Farewell activities will be provided as soon as possible.
