Mentoring and Student Support

As we return back to face-to-face lessons after what has been an extremely difficult period of isolation, disengagement and perhaps even disconnection for some of our students, the College is keen to provide additional opportunities to support any individual student who feels that he could benefit from some one-to-one mentoring from one of our fabulous Year 11 and 12 (2022) Seniors.

Mentoring is a voluntary activity whereby a senior student, having successfully completed his 'Peer Support' training in Year 10, can offer his personal and caring support to a younger student in Years 5, 6 or 7.

If your son is interested in being supported and guided by one of our Seniors, now is the chance for him to come forward and be linked up with a Senior Mentor.

For further information please contact Mr Russo (rrusso@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au or 9414 4359) who will be able to provide further details on this well-established practice at the College.
