On Monday the 4th of October, the students of St Brendan's and their animal friends joined us LIVE for a Virtual 'Blessing of the Animals'.  It was a momentous event with many of our students and their pets sitting very patiently throughout the whole Blessing.  The Blessing of the Animals commemorates the Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of the animals and the environment.

Don Peña, our St. Brendan's Catholic Church seminarian, joined us for the Blessing, as Father Joe has been very busy online with the Plenary Council meetings. 

Don connected with the students beautifully and their pets and recited a number of Prayers and a Blessing for Creation and the student's pets.
