Back to School... Again

Welcome back everyone, we have made it through lockdown! I think most people had the feeling of anticipation as they walked through the gate, we couldn’t wait to see each other's faces. The Year 5 and 6s ( teachers included ) are extremely excited to see all the students come back to school together on Monday.

Years 5 and 6 came back last Friday and it made us feel so excited to see everyone after so long. Friday was a pretty fun and also a chill day because we did some very creative activities including our first face to face session of performing arts in who knows how long. The session was amazing considering we've only had a few sessions at school, however we still have been practicing online. Miss Sabbatucci has been working extremely hard on this year's production and making sure it does happen. Another activity was that we had to get into groups and make someone in the group a costume made out of newspaper.

With everyone coming back over the last couple of weeks, school cooked up some well deserved snags for a treat for the incredible work throughout remote learning.

As far as looking ahead for the seniors in term 4, the year sixes are pumped for graduation, as well as a super fun day at Luna park near the end of term. We also have a year six sleepover in around four weeks and soon the year sixes will start working on their Mixbooks. The Year 5s will also start preparing their leadership speeches this term and we can’t wait to see how they go. As year 6s we still can’t believe that we have around 7 weeks left of school…. Primary school of course. We are so sad to leave this extraordinary community, but we hope to enjoy our remaining time with our friends and teacher.
