Prep Teacher

How long have you worked at BNPS?

I have worked at BNPS for eleven years. I have just returned from a year of a maternity leave.

Prior to going on Maternity leave I was a teacher in Year 1 and in Year 2 the year prior. Before that I was a prep teacher for 8 years, so I am very excited to be back teaching the preps.

Who  inspires you?  

My mum, she is amazing! She is such a go getter and doesn’t stop! She loves being involved in everything and always has fun in anything she does!

 What is your favourite thing to do on the weekends? 

Going for walks with my family, go out for brunch, catch up with friends and family (when we are allowed) and go to the movies!

Are you an early bird or a night owl?  

Probably more of a night owl but neither really. I’m becoming more of a Nana these days, that’s for sure!

If you weren't a teacher, what do you think you might be doing?

A midwife. I’d love to be around all those babies and cuddling them all day long!

What might someone be surprised to know about you ?

I am absolutely terrified of heights.

What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?  

My baby girl, Charlotte, on a trampoline at the park with her Daddy. 

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose ?

Beyonce- I am a terrible singer but love to sing and dance. She seems like she has so much fun and gets to travel the world too!

What would you like to say to the students of BNPS? 

I am so looking forward to seeing you all next week back at school and cannot wait for all the fun we are going to have together!
