Awesome August

Beaumaris North Primary completed its first Awesome August campaign in Term 3. Although the timing of going into lockdown was unfortunate, we are so pleased that so many students got involved.

BNPS students and staff covered a staggering 19,603km, which is almost the EXACT distance between Buenos Aires, Argentina and Shanghai in China!

The early leaders were Year 2, with Year 3 hot on their heels. Then it seems the Year 5 & 6 students fired up and came steaming into contention.

The final standings were:

Gold: Year 6

Silver: Year 5

Bronze: Year 2

We are pleased to announce that we have raised $460.05 the Children's Cancer Foundation. We have raised $2607.25 for the school.

The Student Agency Team (SAT) will ask the student body as a whole for suggestions as to how they would like to see the money spent. The SAT will then consult with those students who donated sponsorship money to assist in making the final decision.
