Car Registration Details

All Year 11s who are driving to and from school must register their details via the portal. This is accessible from the Parent Portal under the “Student Car Registration” tab. No students are permitted to drive to or from school until this has been completed.

Safe on Social Parent Seminar

As part of the school’s Day for Daniel initiative, parents are invited to join Kirra Pendergast, Founder and CEO of Safe on Social, for a parent information evening on Thursday 21 October, 6:30pm – 7:30pm in the Draney Theatre. Kirra will share her vast experience of working within the social media webspace, with a particular focus on platforms and behaviours of concern. She will share a range of tips and tricks to keep your children safe online and answer any questions you may have. A worthwhile experience for any parent who is negotiating the social media minefield. Places are limited, booking is essential - https://events.humanitix.com/safe-on-social-parent-session.

Day for Daniel is also this Friday, where our young men from Year 5 to 10 will be immersed in topics of safety and protection for the day. Please get behind the Day for Daniel fundraising that is occurring, and I highly recommend that all boys in free dress contribute an amount of $2.00 or $5.00 to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation for the privilege. And do not forget to wear red! Donations can be made now on the Monitor system, with over $2000.00 raised before the day resulting in a new hair-do for yours truly. A huge thank you to Scott Minogue and Rush House for making this all happen.

House Farewells

On Thursday, our Houses will have an opportunity to farewell our Seniors and wish them luck before they embark on their External Exams. Our Year 12 students will also attend their final assembly. Year 12 students are permitted to leave the College at the conclusion of the assembly. Best of luck boys – we are right behind you!
