MUSIC SHOWCASE

ELDER HALL

Sarah Horne, Teacher

Term 3 ended with a music spectacular. On Wednesday 15 September, to a full house at Elder Hall, 160 Aberfoyle Park High School music students across years 8-12 presented a wide variety of music they have been learning throughout the year.

Year 8 students had their first major performance to a large audience, showing off their new musical skills. Year 12 students presented their final music performance and showed audiences what years of hard work can do.

Audiences were treated to nine different ensembles, including year level ensemble, string ensemble, concert band, choir, percussion ensemble and Big Band.

The full day rehearsal and evening performance ran smoothly and music staff cannot thank students enough for their help in making the day so smooth. Students helped move equipment, set up, and most importantly supported each other.

Elder Hall was a very fun and memorable experience for me and my friends. It was nice to present music for an audience and showcase our abilities.
