Circus Skills
The Grade 3’s got to break up their week with a fun online circus skills incursion last Tuesday. It was the first of four sessions. All the children joined in enthusiastically and began learning the steps required to juggle three balls (or more) confidently. They also got to learn some rhythmic patterns when spinning their poi (which is a weight, such as a bean bag or tennis ball in a sock/stocking). Take a look at the photos of some of the children in action through our WebEx session.
This week, children get to practise making poses with their bodies to form human towers and shapes (hopefully we’ll be able to build these when we’re all back together) and more tips and tricks to get us juggling like circus clowns!
ART
The children have been producing some amazing artwork at home. Check out some of their creative work below.

If you have successfully completed the challenge, you will receive a certificate in Term 4.
Well done to all the students who have kept up with their reading.
It was wonderful to see hundreds of Nominate-a-mate forms submitted by our students and teachers last week!
It is clear that you are all very grateful for the kindness and thoughtfulness shown by others at RNPS, especially during this latest remote learning period.
Students and teachers received their Certific-mates and were excited that their kind deeds had been noticed!
Some of the awards went to people who had "helped me throughout remote learning", "made me laugh when I was feeling down", "asked me to play when I didn't have anyone to play with", "listened to me" or "helped me up when I fell over".
These may seem like small things to do but it is obvious that they have made a BIG impact on the people who you have helped!
Well done RNPS for helping others everyday!
Together we'll be OK!
