From the Assistant Principals

R U OK Day, 2021
The last two weeks have seen students and teachers focusing on wellbeing, and asking the question, ‘Are you okay?”. This is such an important thing to do, and something that we are passionate about at RNPS. Students worked with teachers on activities promoting wellbeing checks with their peers and family, and it was lovely to see so many students and teachers completing ‘nominate-a-mate’ awards. Acknowledging the vital part others play in out lives is important, and even though R U OK day is an annual thing, this is an important message all year round.

ICAS Assessments
Earlier in the term, I communicated with families who had chosen to participate in the ICAS assessment about changes to test dates. These have once again been pushed back, and can now be undertaken at any time in Term 4. I will update families once we have a clearer picture of what will be happening in regards to the return to school.
