Middle School

From the Head of Middle School

Welcome back to Term Four. I always find this term flies by as it is a little bit shorter and we have many events on during the term. Please ensure that you check the calendar for events that affect your child, especially in relation to a change of normal uniform. Homeroom teachers will ask students to put any changes in their school diary as a reminder for students.

Year Nine Transition to Senior School

As we move towards the end of the year our Year Nines will be doing some transition activities towards their move into Senior School in 2022. During the Values and Christian Service clubs activities on Wednesdays, the Year Nines will join with their Senior School House groups and do activities with the Years Ten and Eleven students. In Week Three they will also attend morning homeroom with their proposed Senior School homeroom class for next year. These are significant changes with the aim of assisting students become more familiar with the pastoral structure that takes place in Senior School.

Uniform

A reminder to please check page eight of the school diary which has information regarding hair styles, jewellery and accessories that can be worn at school. I have asked several students this week to tidy up their hair, remove nail polish, take out a second set of earrings or remove jewellery. We aim to be consistent with these messages to all students and would appreciate the support of parents to ensure students adhere to the School policies.
