Garden project 

A number of Year 10 students have been helping Mrs Turnour with the herb garden since late last term. The students do this during their Pastoral Group time, three days a week. 

We have done lots of tasks such as collecting food scraps from the Green Leaf Cafe, shoveling mulch for the gardens outside of C block, maintaining the C block garden, helping with the 10 cent bottles campaign and thinking of new ways to encourage the school to use the 10 cent bins. 

One of our latest projects was to create terrariums. We did this by putting pebbles on the bottom of a jar then a thick layer of soil which we put our plants and other decorations in. 

All of the students can agree that this is a great extra-curricular activity.
