Also in Term 2 we have seen weekly sports been run as part of the SIS program. The sports have included:

Junior Mixed Touch Rugby coached by Mr Mario Laing

Junior Boys Volleyball coached by Mr Mark Alexander

All teams have done a great deal of training and have seen some great results.

Special mention to the Junior Boys Volleyball team who not only won the Championship Pennant from SIS but also went undefeated all season and had zero sets scored against them. An amazing effort.

Throughout Term 1, St Johns has also hosted a Soccer Gala day for many primary schools. This opportunity allowed for the use of a our soccer and oval facilities to be used and was a great spectacle.

So with more sport on the horizon we look forward to further commitment and dedication from our students to get involved.
