Reminder to use pick-up/drop-off zone safely

The college has reinstated the drive-through drop-off/pick-up zone to support the adherence to the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria’s School Operations Guidelines of no visitors on site due to COVID restrictions. Some tweaks have been made to the drop-off/pick-up zone that we used in the past (see attached illustration). Please be patient and follow directions to ensure everyone's safety.

A video with information about the return to onsite learning and the drop-off/pick-up zone has been created by some of our students and staff. Click on this link to watch the video:

Please note that since the video was made the government has issued the following regulations around the wearing of face masks:

All staff and students from Years 7-9 must:

  • Carry their face masks with them at all times.
  • Wear their face mask while inside except if an exemption applies.
  • Wear their face mask when outdoors if they cannot maintain 1.5 metres physical distance.

Parents of Years 7-9 students, please ensure your child brings a face mask to school.

PAM main source of communication with families

Parents/carers are reminded to ensure that they regularly check the Parent Access Module (PAM) as it is the main source of communication between the college and families.PAM is the portal through which parents receive activity permission forms and important daily messages. The college does not use printed paper forms/notes to communicate this information. Parents/carers can also use PAM to check on their child's learning areas and to send parent-notified student absences. PAM is also the portal through which students' reports are accessed. It is important to log into PAM daily to check any updates or notices. If you have misplaced or forgotten your PAM login details please contact administration at office@sackialla.catholic.edu.au

Parents/carers can download the SIMON Everywhere app to get live notifications on everything that happens in PAM. Just search for 'SIMON Everywhere' on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, download the app and sign in with your PAM account.

Feedback form available on PAM

There is a link in the parent resources section of PAM which gives access to a feedback form for parents/carers to convey any feedback they would like to provide to the college.

School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support

School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) is a framework that brings together school communities to develop positive, safe, supportive learning cultures. SWPBS assists schools to improve social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes for children and young people.

St Anne's College's expectations from all its members are quite simple:

At St Anne's this looks like:

  • Calm, quiet and peaceful
  • Equipment and materials neatly stored
  • Sharing our space
  • Returning materials to their place after use
  • Waiting for your turn
  • Leading by example
  • Offering a helping hand
  • Being patient, thinking twice, acting once

At St Anne’s College, in faith, wisdom and learning, we:

are wise about what we do, we know our impact.

What does this look like in your home?
