Hello Mackellar families!

The SWPBS (School Wide Positive Behaviour Systems) team have been busily promoting the values of our school within the school community.

On Monday mornings after assembly, all students from Prep to 6 participate in learning activities based on our value of the week. 

Also, as part of this promotion, we have new signage in our school yard that promote our four school values of Learning, Respect, Resilience and Teamwork. These signs make our values known to all and act as a constant reminder of what we all believe to be important. One side of the sign is the value and symbol, while the other side is our mascot the Bee portraying the value.

I’m sure you will agree that the signs bring a bit of colour into the school yard and make our values easily recognisable.

Have a chat with your children and ask if they can tell you the Mackellar values. Do they remember all four? Can they explain what our school values mean to them? We would love to hear their thoughts!
