From The Principal's Desk

Dear Parents and Carers,

Returning back to school after lockdown has meant that we were able to complete our assessment weeks.  Teachers are now in the process of writing student reports for Semester 1.  In the final week of school you will receive these reports on Compass, as well as an Individual Learning Plan for your child.  In the first week back of Term 3 we will have Parent Teacher Interviews.  Given the current circumstances of COVID-19 we are required to limit adult access to schools.  We will be offering both interview sessions via video conference format, using the program WEBEX as used previously during 2020.

This will occur on Tuesday 13th July (4pm—5.50pm) and Wednesday 14th July (4pm –5:50pm).

Bookings for Parent Teacher Interviews are now open via Compass.  If you have forgotten your Compass password or don’t know how to book in, please ring the front office for assistance.

It may be that we are able to return back to face to face interviews in Term 4 but for the sake of confusion we will not change the format.

If you are unsure how to use WEBEX, please download the Webex Meeting software from the Webex website. If you haven't used this before, more details will be on the next page.  Your teacher will also send you a WEBEX code to use via Compass before the interviews.

Grade 6 Movie

We are waiting until early next week to make a final call on the Grade 6 Movie.  Restrictions may or may not allow for us to go head and look to find another date in Term 3.

Tickets are available at the front office at $5.00.

Assembly next week

We will be holding our school assembly next week and it appears that we be unable to host parents to this event at this stage.

Enrolments Prep 2022

If you have a current child enrolled in the school and have younger siblings to enrol, it would be great to get these enrolments in and begin the planning process for 2022.

As the term comes to a close we encourage you to send your child to school everyday.  Each day counts for improved learning and unless they are ill we want them at school.

Have a great Week

Scott and Marnie
