Unique transition assistance for Year 7s

Year 7 Pet assisted transition workshops

Northcote High School has been presented with the opportunity to run a program that would assist a small number of year 7 students in their transition into high school.  The program will involve a weekly group session that runs for an hour, occurring each week for the remainder of the term.  The sessions will utilise a pet therapy dog to help students build the skills they might require to help them settle into high school.
