An exciting year of Music

Welcome to Music 2018!

We have an exciting year of performances, workshops, camps and tours planned for our enthusiastic musicians. The following are a few important pieces of information for all students involved in the Music program.

• Week beginning Monday 5th February - all instrumental lessons begin
• Week beginning Monday 12th February - all ensembles start rehearsals

Please refer to Compass for information regarding lesson and ensemble days and times.

New students from every year level are very welcome to apply for the Music program. Please contact Jackie Brogan in the Music office or email brogan.jacqueline.j@edumail.vic.gov.au to join, or with any queries.

Bassoon scholarship

Northcote High School has a vibrant music program. To further support the development of the program, we are offering a scholarship on the bassoon.

This scholarship is open to all Northcote High School students in year 7. No prior music experience is necessary.  The scholarship will include the following:

• Two years of instrumental tuition
• Two year of instrument hire
• Two years of ensemble fees
