FPS Premiers' Reading Challenge: 'Open Up a New World'

This year FPS is once again participating in the Premiers’ Reading Challenge. The Challenge encourages children to read a set number of books over the year and record their efforts online. 

• The challenge begins now and ends Friday 17 September (end of Term 3).
• Each student has a unique login (provided by their teacher).
• Using the link below, have your child to ‘log’ all their read books.
• PRC Login Link: https://vprc.eduweb.vic.gov.au/home

 Students can track the number of books they’ve read and search the PRC book list.  Se the instructions below.

What is my child’s PRC target?

For students from Foundation to Year 2, the goal of the Premiers’ Reading Challenge is to read or experience 30 books, and for students in Years 3 – 6, the Premiers’ Reading Challenge is to read 15 books.

• Foundation - Year 2: 20 PRC list books & 10 choice books
• Year 3 – 6: 10 PRC list books & 5 choice books
