Big Group Hug Campaign—Clothing Donations

This year, FPS are supporting Big Group Hug (www.biggrouphug.org) – a local charity that supports vulnerable families in our community – in their annual PJs, Socks, Singlets and Jocks drive.

To support the current Socks and Jocks campaign, FPS families can:

  • Donate any NEWsets of pyjamas, socks, underwear or singlets in sizes 2 - 16 (no baby sizes please)
  • When: Now until Friday 14 May
  • Where: Boxes have now been placed outside both campus offices for your donations!

Please contribute if you can – any donation (big or small) helps to ensure this year's BGH winter clothing packs go out with fresh new items kids will wear for school and for play.

Thanks for the many kind donations that we have already received.

Parenting in the Pub

Parenting in the Pub is a parent-run group that is putting on a series of sex education classes for parents over term two at the Post Office Hotel, Sydney Road, Coburg.

Called Parenting in the Pub, the sessions create an informal space and friendly forum for parents and carers to get themselves educated when it comes to discussing sex, respectful relationships, puberty, porn, social media and consent with kids of any age.

A range of guest experts will speak at each session including Michael Carr-Gregg, Family Planning Victoria and Sex Education Australia.

These sessions are designed to complement the information parents receive at information nights at school and help us all upskill in this vital area of parenting.
