Principal News

Yes... we are all disappointed that we are needing to go back into lockdown, but what have we learned so far about the CSPS students, families, staff and community?
- We are resilient.
- We are patient.
- We are supportive.
- We are realistic.
- We are optimistic.
Let us not lose sight of what we know works and what we stand by... each other.
Stay safe and we will see you soon.

The dirt has begun to subside, and form is taking place. This is exciting indeed. Current Progress (completed last fortnight):
- Car park storm water completed
- In-ground hydraulic and electrical commenced
- Fire service around building completed
- Slab excavation commenced
Anticipated works for Next Fortnight
- In-ground hydraulic & electrical to be completed
- Slab preparation & crushed rock base
Student attendance continues to be of a high priority at CSPS. Analysis and data collection happens on a daily basis.
- It is the school's responsibility to account for every enrolled student, each school day.
- It is the responsibility of the parent to inform the school via a Compass absence note if their child is absent.
- If a Compass absence note is not received a phone call will be made to the parent or guardian on the day of the absence.
We thank our families for understanding this and notifying the school of their child's absence via Compass.
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The dates for NRW are the same each year; 27 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey— the successful 1967 referendum, and the High Court Mabo decision respectively.
Reconciliation must live in the hearts, minds and actions of all Australians as we move forward, creating a nation strengthened by respectful relationships between the wider Australian community, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
