End of Term Two in Year One! 

It's hard to believe we are at the end of the second term, and half-way through the year! Once again, it has been an exciting term and not without it's challenges! 

We would like to say a huge thank you to our resilient learning community. This year has already presented some huge challenges for our students and families. We are continually grateful for the kindness and support that is shown by our parents and students alike when faced with such potentially adverse moments. 

Despite all that has happened, our beautiful students continue to be incredibly resilient and show up to school with a smile on their face. 

We would like to wish each of our students and their families a safe and happy holiday. We cannot wait to see them again in Term Three. 

INQUIRY

This term in Inquiry student have been learning about Forces. Students investigated different types of push and pull forces and how to use forces to create movement. Students explored the characteristics and properties of materials and components. They completed a range of hands-on activities and experiments to see different forces being used. 

Students applied their knowledge to design and build their own creation out of materials to complete a challenge! Their challenge was to use a force to move a hollow chocolate egg without breaking it. We are happy to report no eggs were broken! The students thoroughly enjoyed all the activities they completed this term.
