SPORT

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all getting out there and being as active as you can.  It has been great seeing many students on bikes when leaving school after my school supervision days. Slurpees in hand mostly!

Well unfortunately there is not much positive news to tell in the newsletter for this edition. Unfortunately the Beachside Cross Country event has been postponed from Tuesday 15th June.  A further date has yet to be released and I will let you know as soon as I know of any updates via Operoo.

Year 5 / 6 Friday Sport

Unfortunately our final Friday Sport round will now be cancelled. Due to the complexities of rescheduling around other events and unknown factors at this time we will not be able to play the final round.

AFL and Netball Lightning Premierships

The AFL and Netball lightning Premiership which were due to take place this term have at this stage been postponed. Unfortunately, there is yet to be a back-up date scheduled. As soon as we know any details they will be passed on accordingly.

Hoop Time Basketball- MSAC-August

On a positive note, we have Hoop Time to look forward to in August. A big thank-you to all the parents of the year 3/4 students who completed the Operoo in regards to student participation. The teams will be announced in term 3.

Once again, please make sure you are all getting out there and being active, as itgenuinely delights me to see many students on bikes when leaving school after my school supervision days.

Thank-you.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Georgia McNamara
