On Tuesday 10th November, SMCC students attended the Cairns Art Gallery to see and experience three inspiring exhibitions; Northern Landscapes, Reimagining, and Made/Worn.

Students readily engaged with, and were inspired by the diversity of artworks currently on display over the three floors of the gallery. The variety of forms and materials encompassed painting, drawing, installation, contemporary jewellery, and media based works. Artists featured were local, national and international. All students left feeling inspired and excited to begin working on their ideas for Year 12.
