School Council

We might be hard to recognise when masked up and under hats and sunnies, but your School Council members are here and working hard to support the school in finding our new Covid normal. 

We have been meeting regularly throughout the year and are excited to plan for 2021. 

To give you a feel for our meetings, some of the agenda items include:

• A report from the Student Executive (usually two students) who provide an update on student news and have an opportunity to ask questions of council. This is our favourite part!
• The Principal’s Report
• The President’s Report
• Reports from the School Sub-Committees, which include Finance, Environment and Facilities, Strategic Development and Planning and Wellbeing
• Friends and Families report

School Council is a wonderful way to deepen your understanding of the education system and the workings of our wonderful school. School Councillors have a diverse range of backgrounds and it is gratifying to come together, working with the school's amazing staff, to build a school where kids are truly at the heart.
