BE INVOLVED, BE CONNECTED

Dear Parents and Carers,

NEW SCHOOL COUNCIL PRESIDENT

I wish to inform the school community that our School Council President Mark Vassarotti has resigned from office and that Freya Owen, Vice President has stepped up to take the position. I would also like to take the opportunity of thanking Mark for his work during the past two years. Mark was on the inaugural school council and assisted me in opening the school in 2019. We wish Mark and his family all the very best and look forward to their return in 2022.

PREP 2021 TRANSITION PROGRAM

Our 2021 Prep Transition Program is aimed at helping children make a smooth start to school. It is particularly important this year given the COVID lockdowns and the reduced

opportunities of preschool experience.  Transition will look different to past years. Due to COVID restrictions the transition program is a virtual school experience in the form of mini sessions that will assist in preparing students for school.  If you have a child starting school next year you will receive information about the dates of these sessions early next week.

CONGRATULATIONS MR WEBB

We congratulate Mr David Webb and his partner Sophie on the arrival of their new baby boy Joshua Michael Webb.

BOOK PARADE AND FOOTY COLOURS DAY

South Melbourne Park is a place where children love to be.  We have had a enjoyable week with students dressing up in their favourite book character and footy team colours. A huge thank you to Emily Kurts, Noha Soulibe, Natalie Brass and Jarn Osman for organising these fun events.
