Student Showcase

In English this semester, year 9 students have focused heavily on their analytical skills and have learned how to write text response and comparative essays. Students completed their text response essay in remote learning, then last week completed the comparative essay on site in exam conditions. The year 9s did an excellent job on these tasks and we are exceptionally proud of their efforts! 

In English this term, our year 8 students have focused on analysing advertising and the features of engaging advertisements. As part of our assessment, students had to apply their learning to create their own advertisements. Our year 8s did an amazing job of selling their products (some of which I would definitely be eager to purchase!!!). Congratulations to our amazing year 8s!

Year 7 Science

Our year 7s have had a chance to  explore an ecosystem of their choice, and the interactions between organisms in it through the use of food chains and food webs. They then investigated the impacts of the ecosystem as a result of human activity and made a physical model of their ecosystem.
