Dear Parents and Caregivers
Next week we will begin our Advent Liturgies led by our Year 3/4 classes.
They will be held on a Monday morning at 8:45 on the following dates:
Monday the 23rd November led by Year 3/4 JM
Monday the 30th November led by Year 3/4 J
Monday the 7th December led by Year 3/4 K
Monday the 14th December led by Year 3/4 N
The link for the service will be sent out each Monday morning.
The Year 1/2s have been brainstorming what they know about Advent. They shared the following thoughts.
Advent is a time that we start to prepare for Christmas.

There are four weeks of Advent and during this time we try to better ourselves.

I know that there are four candles. Three of them are purple and represent love, hope and peace. The pink one represents joy.

In other countries, they celebrate Advent differently

I know that it is a time of waiting just like they waited for the birth of Jesus.
