Term 4 Sport

As we look to restart sport next week we would ask all students in Years 7-10 to check their college email and fill in the Google form sent out by Mr Montoya on behalf of the sports department. We are asking students to make some choices regarding the sports they would like to compete in for the remaining weeks of the year. We are governed by the restrictions and all sports are based outside.

Mazenod Gets Moving - Year 7 & 8 Physical Education

A reminder to all our Junior PE students that we have started our Mazenod Gets Moving program for term 4.

All the information is on each class home page and outlines activities that can be done in PE and sports time to get us all up and moving.

Students in Year 7 are completing the program here at school and have enthusiastically participated back in their first week. A reminder to our Year 7 students that they can wear their PE uniform and college tracksuit to school on the day of their PE lesson and also on a Thursday.

Sporting Honours

It is with great pride that we announce Year 12 student Trent Symss has been selected into the Australian AIS Junior Hockey program in Canberra. It is a remarkable effort from Trent to be considered in the top players in Australia.

Trent has represented Victoria in a number of tournaments and been one of our leading players. Through this competition, Trent has shown the national talent scouts that he has the skill, talent and determination to play at the highest level possible.

We hope that Trent follows in the footsteps of fellow Mazenod student Chris Cirello who represented Australia at two Olympics.
