The Greatest Commandment  (from Matthew 22:  34-40)

In this week's Gospel, Jesus speaks of loving God with all your heart and soul and mind. This is especially important during the month of October as we focus on World Mission Month through Catholic Mission Australia.  To love God with all your heart and soul and mind is to extend this to love our fellow human beings, most notably the vulnerable in our community both here in Australia and in countries such as Cambodia.

Week 3!
Week 3!

Get ready to sort your socks for this coming Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Students across all classes at St Joseph's have been listening and learning about stories from Cambodia and the great things that are being achieved as a result of donations through fundraising events such as Crazy Sock Days.

Please wear your Crazy Socks to school during Week 3 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - and donate a GOLD Coin to Catholic Mission.

All Saints' Day

Every year on November 1, many Roman Catholics and other Christians around the world observe All Saints Day, which honours all saints of the church that have attained heaven. We especially remember, most recently, the 10th anniversary of Australia's first Saint, Mary of the Cross MacKillop.
