Hi everyone! I am back from an amazing trip and I thank you for all your good wishes, prayers and thoughts as I settle back down to earth!
As October is the month of the Rosary I ask you to pray the Hail Mary for the Year 12 students sitting for Higher School Certificate.
Family Mass
Everyone is invited to the next Family Mass this Saturday 22 October at 5.30pm. Father Anderson and Year 2 families are leading us in prayer. The Year 2 students will receive a special prayer card at the Mass appropriate to the Reconciliation program.
Save the Date!
Year 5 and 2023 Kindy Buddy Mass Saturday 26 November at 5.30pm - Year 5 families are leading us in prayer welcoming 2023 Kindy families to our community. The 2023 children will receive a special Welcome Prayer Pack which contains symbols of our faith in setting up their very own prayer space.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation Program has commenced this week on Wednesday and Thursday and once again I am assisting with lessons in the Church. If you have not registered your child or have questions about the program please contact the Parish Office directly (Tues - Fri on 95247283) or the Sacrament Coordinator,

Gingerbread House Making Night
Wednesday 30th November 6.30pm - 8.30pm Keller Hall
Yes, it is back on!
Parents and carers of Our Lady of Fatima School Caringbah are warmly invited to attend a Gingerbread House Making Night for the Season of Advent. We are getting ready for Christmas! This is an adult only event in Keller Hall on Wednesday 30th November from 6.30pm - 8.30pm but home kits are available if you want to make it a family affair at home. To keep the cost down you are asked to BYO lollies to the event this year. And BYO refreshments although tea and coffee will be provided on the night.
I have 50 kits ordered so it is first in first served! Each kit costs $37 and includes the house kit, board, icing bag, ribbon, cellophane and a prayer card. Fill out the order form that was sent to you via Compass last week and start buying your lollies! The last day for orders is Monday November 7!
Advent 2022
The Season of Advent begins on Sunday 27 November.
This four week preparation period gets us ready for the Season of Christmas which begins on Christmas Day.
Friday Fatima Friends
We are having so much fun making new friends at Friday Fatima Friends. Once again the Year 5 students are assisting with the activities as they are keen to get to know their buddies for 2023. Please encourage any 2023 Kindy families to come along next term so they don’t miss out! We always start in the Mercy Library with prayer and a chat. Here are the dates and activities for the next few weeks. Fingers crossed for sunshine!
Term 4
Week 2 - 21st October - sporty fun on Fatima Forum. Wear active wear and bring water.
Week 3 - 28th October - watering the OLF garden. Bring your watering can!
Week 7- 25th November - Music mania in the Music Room.
Week 8 - 2nd December - Christmas fun.
Week 9 - 9th December - Christmas fun.
N.B Due to various commitments there will be no playdates in Week 4, 5, 6 and 10.
