GRADE 3 CAMP

Gundiwindi Lodge

On Thursday 6th October, 104 very excited Grade 3 students headed for Gundiwindi Lodge on their first school camp.

It was a very busy and action-packed 2 days, with students rotating through 7 activities. These activities included: Flying Fox, Giant Swing, Nature Hunt, Survival Skills, Damper cooking, Indoor Archery and Low Ropes Course.

Students conquered their fear of heights, challenged themselves and gained greater independence and a sense of responsibility. All students thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals that were prepared for them, especially the dessert which was jelly, ice-cream and sprinkles.

To unwind after a busy first day, students had a movie night with popcorn before heading to bed. A great time was had by all, with some students saying, “I wish we could stay for longer!”

All grade 3 students should be proud of their efforts, bravery and positive attitude.
