High-Rise Bakery Excursion-Foundation

As part of ‘Children’s Week’ community events

Foundation students were invited to the Family Bake Day at High Rise Community Bakery to make pizza. This was a wonderful learning experience which also linked to last Semester’s Kitchen Garden unit on bread. Students enjoyed working with the dough and selecting their own pizza toppings. They enjoyed watching Cassie put the pizzas in the oven.

A very special thank you to Tara, Cassie, Peta and all who organised and ran the event at High Rise Bakery to make this experience possible for our Foundation students.
