Assistant Principal

Year 9 & 10

I can’t believe it is Term 4 already!

We’ve hit the ground running, with a great start to the term!

This week has been Arts Week at the college and there have been a range of activities students have participated. Photo booths, badge making, Moana screenings and the first ever LSC ‘The Voice’ were absolute highlights. Our student performers bravely faced a panel of 3 judges and a packed Drama Centre audience to impress us with their skills. You will see some of the pictures of this event in this newsletter and on our Facebook and Instagram.

The Year 9s have a heap of great things happening, especially our Advance students who are going on their camping excursion and a hike. Our Year 10s have their fieldwork excursion to Williamstown this week and I will have the privilege of attending one of the days.

We’ve also had an awards assembly recognising the achievements of our year 9 and 10 students from their progress reports. Students were awarded for their attitude to learning during term 3.

While I am always impressed with the achievements of our students in the college, many of our students also have high level of achievement outside of the college. It is with great pride that I announce that John Radimisis of Year 10 was chosen to represent Victoria to compete in the Nationals for Soccer which took place in Sydney on the 25th of September!
