Assistant Principal

Year 11 & 12

Congratulations to our year 12 students!

Last Friday was the last day for our year 12 students. Fortunately, the weather cleared and the students we able to enjoy a final day of celebrations with jumping castle, photo booth and food trucks as well as the student parade. It was exciting to see the students dressed up and celebrating their final year of secondary school. Thank you to Mr Hill, Ms Zdraveska, and Ms Carmody for the running of the day and not to forget all the hours of support and guidance given to the student over the past year. I know it has been very much appreciated by the students.

We send all of our year 12 students, and several year 11 students completing a unit 3 and 4 subject, our very best wishes for their approaching exams, as they embark on their swot vac period of preparation. The first VCAA exam starts this Wednesday with Languages. The English exam follows on Thursday October 27th.

The LSC year 12 Presentation Evening to be held on the Thursday 15h December will be held at Brookwood Receptions, Thomastown. Details have been provided to students and families.

Last Thursday, the year 11 and 12 students attended the Leadership Assembly to hear from the candidates for the year 12 captains for 2023. Many thanks to Ms Cartisano, Mr Ladnjak and Ms Carmody for their logistical planning of the event. The speeches were inspiring and thoroughly entertaining. Congratulations to all students who nominated themselves for these esteemed leadership positions. It was fantastic to see so many of our year 11 students nominate. We are very proud of you for taking the courage to apply. The best of luck to each of you.

A reminder to our year 12 families, parents and students should download any reports from Compass as these will not be available for access in 2023.
