Captains Corner

Hello Glen Waverley Primary School! My name is Nevin and I am one of your 2022 School Captains. Welcome to another exciting edition of our school newsletter. We have so much happening at school this term that I wanted to share with you all. 

Next Thursday 3rd November is our first ever Whole School Colour Run!  I am very excited to announce that we have reached a very important milestone in our fundraising efforts , and have now raised just over $25,000. We have officially reached the half way mark towards our school target of $50,000. Well done to everyone on your fundraising efforts. 

In Week 6 we will have the Year 6 Summer Round Robin. Our Year 6s will be participating in various sports such as Cricket, TBall, Danish Rounders, Softball and Hotshots Tennis. We wish the Year 6’s the best of luck for this event.

The countdown has also begun as we head into the last half of Term Four. The Year 6s are looking forward to their Year 7 Transition day and Graduation Night, whilst the other year levels are preparing for 2023 Day. I look forward to sharing how these special events in the calendar go.
