Happy Halloween!
Our 1st dance of the year will be held on Friday evening from 6:00-7:30 pm. The dance is open to BAMS students only. Students are welcome to wear a school appropriate costume, see guidelines below. If a student is absent, they are not allowed to attend the dance. The admission is free, and there will be light refreshments available.
Some guidance for costumes for the Halloween dance
Beyond required face masks, no full face masks or make-up will be allowed that hide an individual's identity.
No fake weapons, blood, alcohol, drugs or harassing themes will be allowed as outlined in the school dress code.
Avoid dressing in a costume that will reflect another ethnicity or culture.
Students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm on both of these days. Buses will be available at dismissal time to transport students home that normally ride the bus. Students must leave campus at 12:30 pm because we will be transitioning to our parent/guardian teacher conferences.
Students wishing to attend the dance must go home before coming back for the dance at 6 pm. Students will not be allowed to hang at the school campus until the dance. Thank you.
On Wednesday, November 9, our 7th and 8th Grade Band, Jazz Band and Chorus, will perform for you in the BUHS Auditorium at 7:00 pm! We hope to see you there!
Any parents are welcome to attend our Leadership Council meetings . Our next meeting is on Thursday, November 3 @ 6 pm.

If you want to pop in for a coffee and to chat with Mr. Lyman and with other parents/guardians, please stop by on Wednesday morning, November 9 anytime from 8:30-9:15 am.
Any students who did not get pictures taken in September will get their pictures taken on this day. Students who would like a retake of their September picture can get another photo taken as well, but they MUST bring in the September pictures that they already received. There will be a new ordering code for all the photos taken on November 10, which will be available on that day.
We will be mailing home report cards sometime towards the end of next week. Of course, we encourage you to go online to the Parent Portal to review your child's progress anytime.
Please take a minute to read this important letter regarding student usage of social media.
Our website offers a lot of information about the school. Right on the main page, you can find links on updates to athletic information, the BAMS Daily Announcements (a great source of all kinds of information), and links to each team's homework website. I encourage you to check it out on a regular basis. http://bams.wsesdvt.org/
