HARMONY DAY

Harmony Day
Saleh, Exmann, Kenfe, Honore and David from Year 11 VCAL worked with Michael Zappiello to hand draw designs for Harmony Day. The boys participated in a workshop with Michael at Youth Services and created an original design.
The cost of the printing of the shirts was shared between Youth Services and Melton Secondary College. Students and teachers wore the shirts on Harmony Day when they participated in and led activities.
Michael said that they boys were “enthusiastic about the opportunity that they were given for to create a t-shirt with a powerful message for Harmony Day. They took it back to the core of what Harmony Day is really about; Peace, Respect and Hope.”
