Junior Sub School

Clubs and groups running to help Junior Students with their work and enjoyment of school

Parents often ask if there are any opportunities for students in the Junior School to improve in their work or engage in activities during the day. Many times it is a vague request, sometimes it is specific: here are a few ideas:

Junior students can attend many of these groups, or staff may request that students attend, with their parents’ permission.

Planet Shakers: Planet Shakers are a youth group who come in on Friday lunchtimes to play music in our courtyards. The noise is, for some of us, deafening but the students love the diversion and entertainment. Bands made up of some of our students also entertain the crowd and give those students involved an audience to perform for.

For many of our students the possibility of having someone help with their homework makes the difference between completing work or not. Similarly, meeting people with similar interests in clubs can improve their connectedness to school and their work.

This extensive list of clubs and activities are designed to help support student interest in, and success at school. We hope you take advantage of the offerings listed above.
