Volunteer Fortnight
National Volunteer Week ran from 9-15 May. The slogan Give Happy, Live Happy recognises that not only are volunteers, making the lives of others happier, they too are happier as a result.
We are grateful for our parents and community members who volunteer to be part of our Community Engagement Committee of School Council. Our members have volunteered this year for Harmony Day and have supported students with cooking Harmony Day cakes and other activities.
Currently the committee is supporting the following events:
- VCAL fundraiser Day
- Diversity Week (1st August – 5th August)
- Applying for Grants for Community Projects
We welcome new community members to our next meeting on Thursday 9th June.
All new ideas are very welcome.
