Year 10 Mathematics

Year 10 elective mathematics class presented their final projects today. Congratulations to Mr Tonkin and his students on such a wonderful display of their learning. Students used graphing techniques and algebraic functions to create complex animations...WOW!!!

Hockey

Following a successful weekend at the U18 NSW State Indoor Hockey Championships, where the Hockey New England won back to back titles, Jake McCann and Nathan Czinner have been selected in the NSW U18 State team. Liam Smith has also been selected as a shadow player. 

We now have four (maybe five) students competing in the Australian Championships in January - Jake, Nathan, Meg Lye and Tyler McCann!!!

Mountain Biking

There was some outstanding riding over the weekend in Orange, with a number of O'Connor students taking out the State Championship for Mountain Biking. In the under 17 category Isabella Hosking took the state title with Olive Tutt 2nd and Emily Meehan 3rd. Katherine Hosking won the state title for the under 19's and Emily Wooster 2nd in the State.

Congratulations to Year 12 2018 student James Durham

who has been accepted into National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) to study Diploma of Live Production and Technical Services. An amazing achievement James well done!
