Year 12 HSC Drama Presentation

On Thursday 11 August, Year 12 Drama presented their works for the HSC in front of an audience of friends, family and staff.  Tobie Gilmore, Tayla Haeata, and Shemali Rimene performed monologue as their individual project; David Mood presented a script as a worked reading; Jade-Lily McKeown explained her promotion & program design to us and Caitlin Howarth displayed her functional set box design. All six students then performed their original ensemble piece, 'Keep Me Posted'. The diversity within the subject of drama was highlighted during the evening and many audience comments reflected this.

As their teacher, I am enormously proud of their development as dramatists. This group of young people can also be proud of how well they work together. Chookas for the HSC examination.

Western Region Athletics Representatives

Cowra High School has three new Western Region representatives for athletics – Jay Cogan, Bobbie Jefferies and Aeryc Sansum. They will compete in Sydney at the State Athletics Carnival in September. Congratulations boys!
