Year 7 Studyladder

Studyladder is a Numeracy & Literacy website which is aimed at junior students that Cowra High School subscribes to. Students can access the website from home to complete tasks set by the teacher or to do extra revision.  Mary Bullocks’ Year 7 class completed some interactive tasks on Studyladder to consolidate their understanding of Probability.

The Partners in Learning Parent Feedback Survey

As mentioned in the last Newsletter our school is participating in the Partners in Learning survey which asks parents/caregivers questions about different factors known to impact on student wellbeing and engagement.  We would appreciate your time in completing the survey, which takes about 15 minutes and is confidential.  The link to access the survey is

Year 11 Biology & Senior Science Excursion

Year 11 Biology & Senior Science attended the Lake Cowal Conservation Centre last week to undertake their compulsory field work. It was a lovely day and students gained valuable skills about our natural environment.  Students will now complete a report on the ecosystem and evaluate the health of the environment.

Year 11 PDHPE

Last Thursday and Friday Year 11 PDHPE had an excursion to the Cowra Health Club. Students are completing the unit “Fitness Choice” and as a result needed to experience some of the fitness choices available in Cowra. The students participated in two classes including GRIT and Boxing which they thoroughly enjoyed. It was an excellent experience overall.

Subject Fees

Recently invoices were sent home for outstanding subject fees.  We would appreciate prompt payment of these fees which can be paid online or in person at the Cowra High School office.
