Middle Sub School
It is the time of the year when students in the Middle School should be beginning to prepare themselves for their upcoming exams. We encourage the students to fully apply themselves towards their studies and ensure that they are meeting all requirements, in particular with regards to homework and revision. It is important that your child has:
- A designated area in which to study away from distractions such as television and computer games etc.
- A designated study time each night- it is of vital importance to establish a routine.
- The foresight to manage time effectively. To work around sporting and other commitments throughout the week.
- The ability to record tasks for completion in the Student Planner. This takes the guesswork out of what needs to be completed on a nightly basis.
If you have any queries or concerns regarding homework, assignment work or revision techniques, please contact your child’s subject teacher or the Sub School.
Year 9 Camp
Forty six students and five teachers had a fantastic time on camp participating in the many activities including a night walk, a beach walk, rope climbing, giant swing and the flying fox. The rain stayed away and the sun was shining and everyone had a fantastic time.

VCE Exams
Year 11 Unit 1 Exams run from Friday 9th June to 16th June. Students do not attend school other than to sit exams between these dates. A timetable will be available soon.
Year 12 Unit 3 Exams run in class time through the final weeks of term 2.
Year 12 Unit 3&4 Practice Exams run in the 2nd week of Sept holidays.
All VCE students doing at least one Unit 3&4 study are required to sit the GAT on Wednesday 14th June 10am to 1.15pm. No VCE classes will run on this day.
An important measure of whether a student is ready to pursue a subject at Year 12 standard or to sit their final Year 12 Exams is their performance on the End of Semester Exams. Some important elements of our Assessment Policy that you need to be aware of:
- Students must pass Year 11 exams before being enrolled into Unit 3 & 4 (Year 12) of any subject
- Year 12 students must pass Unit 3 Exams as well as Sept holiday practice exams before attempting final VCE Exams
- If students do not pass on the first attempt, they will be required to attend extra Revision Classes after school
- If students do not pass on the first attempt, they must re-sit
