Athlete Development Program

The Athlete Development Program (ADP) continues to deliver quality education and development programs to student athletes at the college.  This was clearly evident in the results at our recent House Athletics Carnival - of the Individual Age Group Champions (Athletics), 75% were members of the ADP. We also observed some very impressive efforts by Trinity Skenderis, Promise Manubah and Manar Mahfouz who all broke records on the day. The House Athletics carnival also provides us with an opportunity to identify new talent in athletics and potentially invite new athletes into the program. The staff were impressed with the achievements and efforts of a number of students with some efforts shining. We are therefore pleased to announce the addition of Eva Lavanda, Jessica Rastrick, Derek Iva and Alain Nzitunga to the ADP. Congratulations!

These students have earned their position through demonstrating a positive attitude, their high level of sporting accomplishments and contribution to the college sports program.

We are currently undergoing our annual review of the Athlete Development Program. This process provides us with insights into what areas have been successful and what areas require further work including delivery of programs, athlete participation and growth, and the utilisation of available resources. This is vital to ensure we continue to provide quality education, support our students to achieve success and provide opportunities for further growth and development.
